Job Description - Global Brand Manager

Global Brand Manager – Disorders of Protein Metabolism


 


Vitaflo (International) Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Global Brand Manager to work at its head office just outside of Liverpool city centre on a full-time permanent basis.


 


Reporting directly into the Global Category Manager, and as part of the GMP Category team, the Global Brand Manager will play a key role in the development, delivery and implementation of global marketing plans and innovation pipeline. This fast paced role is suited to a commercially astute individual who thrives on driving performance and delivering results.


 


What will you do?


 


As a Global Brand Manager, your main responsibilities will be:


 



  • As part of an extensive cross functional, international team develop long term plans to sustain the future global growth of the category.

  • Responsibility for the production of robust annual global brand plans which deliver sales and profitability targets within agreed allocated budget.

  • In partnership with the wider category team, drive implementation of tactical on and off line initiatives of the plan in conjunction with relevant stakeholders and ensure the effective monitoring against KPIs.

  • Management of brand associated PFME; forecasting of expenditure, PO management and accurate reporting.

  • Product portfolio management & rationalisation; including analysis of current/future products.

  • Brand lead on innovation/renovation projects, responsibility for launch approval process including production of robust business cases, international pricing assessment & approval and launch training.

  • Branding: brand essence and championing implementation of tools and assets globally.


 


 


 


Who are we looking for?


 


Essential Criteria:


 



  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing or Nutrition/Dietetics

  • Experience of working within healthcare marketing, preferably clinical nutrition.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels both internally and externally

  • Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals and patient support organisations

  • Be creative and adaptable with excellent attention to detail

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint


 


Desirable criteria:


 



  • Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualified or similar would be advantageous

  • Have an awareness of the digital environment and social media.

  • Previous experience of Product/ Brand Management or similar role at global level or within Inborn Errors of Metabolism
