What you’ll be doing
Lead content strategy across priority brands, campaigns and omnichannel activation plans
Define content ecosystems that support brand growth across paid, owned and earned channels
Translate brand platforms and media strategies into high-performing, channel-specific content
Partner closely with Creative, Design, Media and Brand teams to deliver distinctive and commercially effective campaigns
Develop frameworks, briefing standards and scalable ways of working to improve content quality and efficiency
Drive content excellence across social, digital, e-commerce, CRM, shopper marketing and video
Use insights, analytics and performance data to continuously optimise creative effectiveness
Build scalable and modular content systems that improve speed, consistency and ROI across markets
Lead and develop Content Managers while fostering a strong collaborative content community across Karo
Manage and influence external agencies, production partners and freelancers to ensure high-quality delivery
Champion innovation in content production, including AI, automation and emerging technologies
Support content operations, workflow governance, budget optimisation and KPI delivery across the Centre of Excellence
Requirements
Significant senior-level experience within content strategy, creative leadership, campaign development or content production
Strong background in FMCG, consumer healthcare, retail or other fast-moving consumer-focused industries
Proven experience developing integrated content strategies across digital and omnichannel environments
Deep understanding of paid, owned and earned media ecosystems, including social, e-commerce, video and CRM
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect creative output to business and media objectives
Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leaders across matrix organisations
Strong creative judgement and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback across content formats
Experience leading teams and developing talent within fast-paced, international organisations
Knowledge of content operations, localisation, modular content systems and scalable asset creation
Familiarity with performance measurement, analytics and content optimisation approaches
Interest in AI, automation and new technologies shaping modern content creation
Fluent professional English; additional European languages are a plus
