Job DescriptionGlobal Innovation Lead (12m FTC)Major Lifestyle BrandLondon£75 - 85k--About the CompanyA major lifestyle brand with operations around the world. Many of their products are household names and they have an exciting pipeline in place already.About the RoleReporting into the R&D Director, the Global Innovation Lead will head the innovation team and take a principal position in running multiple live innovation projects.The role is a 12 month FTC and ideally would start ASAP.Responsibilities include:Managing and taking ownership of the end-to-end process for several innovation projects at a time. Ensuring that innovation projects are delivered on schedule and on budget.Managing a team of innovation specialists and ensuring that the innovation team meets its targets. This includes spotting and integrating talent where necessary.Using design thinking to examine and develop new products and business models. This will include fleshing-out and testing ideas through innovation sprints.Updating senior leaders on the progress of the brand's flagship innovation projects.Acting as an innovation cheerleader to promote the innovation function within the wider company.About your BackgroundA strong track record of leading innovation teams, preferably in an in-house environment.Demonstrable experience in leading and successfully delivering innovation projects, especially in the areas of product development, but also in new business models.Team (3+) leadership experience is essential.A notice period of no longer than 2 months.About your SkillsetDesign ThinkingProduct DesignProduct InnovationInnovation ManagementStakeholder ManagementTeam ManagementSprintsWe are committed to helping our clients build diverse teams and we promote & and practice inclusive recruiting.
