I am working with a leading global Commodity Trading and investment company on a Head/ Senior Insurance Risk position.

You'll lead a talented team of risk professionals, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and innovative approaches to insurance risk management. This involves developing robust protection strategies, maintaining key relationships with insurance providers, and ensuring their global operations remain resilient and protected.

Relationship management with the insurance market is a crucial aspect of this role. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with insurance companies and brokers in Europe, leveraging existing business connections. When necessary, you will identify and approach strong insurance partners in specific areas to obtain the latest and most advanced insurance risk management information.

Significant experience working at a senior level as a risk manager in a multinational corporation, or with brokers or underwriters, is preferred. Expertise across a wide range of insurance lines including Property & Casualty, Marine Cargo, Credit, Construction, Energy, and Aviation would be highly regarded. Experience in managing a team or department is essential.
