Eden Scott is pleased to be supporting a leading Fife-based manufacturer on an exclusive basis, with the appointment of a Sales Manager to help expand their Oil & Gas business line.

The company designs and manufactures a wide range of topside and subsea equipment with a strong track record in the Energy sector globally. They can custom design and engineer bespoke equipment to any work scope and have supported a number of high profile projects in the North Sea, Africa and Americas.

Their specialisms include IWOCS, Umbilical Reelers and Hydraulic Power Units; mainly for smaller O&G Operators & their Tier 1 suppliers. They also have rental and service divisions; with a workshop in Aberdeen as well as their HQ in Fife, where they have their design and manufacturing centre.

The Sales Manager will develop and expand the sales of the Company’s business through raising awareness of the brand with key customer groups and manage the sales of products through to order.

Responsibilities will include:

· Business development; investigating new sector opportunities within Oil & Gas
. Promoting the Company. Identifying, developing, closing and managing sales of products and services.
· Developing a strong understanding of our the products.
· Account management of our existing end users & operators customer base
· Ensuring a steady sales growth rate within designated region
· Developing and working to a sales strategy ensuring goals/sales targets are achieved
· Liaising with all team members in the pursuit of targets
· Travelling to customer sites to conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations. Providing consistent follow up on opportunities or inquiries

The Ideal Sales Manager should possess:

· A good technical understanding of energy projects specifically related to the Oil & Gas Sector.
· Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies
· A mix of new business and account management attributes
· Existing Oil & Gas sector client relationships and contacts

Salary and Benefits:

Basic Salary of £60,000-£80,000 (negotiable)
Company Car Allowance
Generous Bonus/Commission Scheme
The company is based in Fife. This opportunity is offered on a remote working basis, with many of their customers based internationally
