Location: Folkestone Working arrangement: Office-based so the successful candidate must be within Kent or willing to relocate at short notice.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced GMP Compliance Senior Specialist to support a major transformation programme at a manufacturing site in Folkestone.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in strengthening quality culture, modernising GMP systems and supporting long-term regulatory compliance and future business growth.
The position is offered on a temporary ongoing basis. With the possibility of the role becoming permanent during 2027, although this is not guaranteed at this stage.
The Role
As a key technical expert and change agent, you will work closely with colleagues across Quality, Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to deliver a site-wide GMP improvement roadmap.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Driving site-wide GMP improvement programmes and transformation activities.
* Leading the remediation of identified GMP gaps.
* Developing and strengthening GMP quality systems, procedures and governance frameworks.
* Providing expert guidance on contamination control, environmental monitoring, validation programmes, facility hygiene and cleaning standards.
* Supporting inspection-readiness and regulatory compliance activities.
* Working with operational teams to embed GMP requirements into everyday practices.
* Coaching and mentoring leaders and colleagues to strengthen GMP capability and accountability.
* Promoting a culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
About You
We are looking for an experienced GMP professional who combines strong technical knowledge with the ability to lead change and influence stakeholders.
You will ideally have:
* Significant experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of GMP principles and quality management systems.
* Experience implementing or improving GMP programmes and compliance frameworks.
* Experience working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality teams.
* A proven ability to lead change and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
* Excellent communication, coaching and leadership capabilities.
