Job Description - Goods in Operative

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Goods In Operative to join a leading company on the outskirts of Horsham. They are a specialist manufacturer and supplier of high-end stationery and materials. They supply to retailers, universities, key accounts throughout the UK and Europe.

Working in a busy and dynamic role this is a varied position with duties including:

Loading and unloading deliveries using Counterbalance
Booking goods in onto WMS
Checking for missing and damaged items
Storing items in correct warehouse locations using Reach Truck
Performing daily forklift safety checks
Replenishment of stock

The successful candidate must have:

Valid forklift licences – Reach, Counterbalance and ideally Flexi
Previous experience in a similar warehouse position
Experience using PDA/ Hand-held Scanners
Own transport due to site location

Package:

8.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (40 hour week) with overtime opportunities
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 DOE
20 days holiday (increasing to 25 days after 5 years employment).
