Goods In Operative - Elland

We are looking for a Goods In Operative to join the Operations Team at a growing chemical business based in Elland. This is a hands-on role ensuring all goods received are managed efficiently and meet both client requirements and industry regulations.

What you'll be doing...

Receive and inspect all incoming goods, checking against purchase orders and client specifications
Verify that all materials are correctly labelled and meet quality standards, reporting discrepancies or damages
Ensure hazardous materials are handled and stored in line with COSHH, COMAH, and relevant safety regulations
Accurately log all goods received in a timely manner
Liaise with suppliers and clients to resolve issues related to damaged or missing items
Assist with preparing materials for outgoing shipments

What we're looking for...

Must have:

Good levels of Maths and English
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisation and planning skills
Confident using computers and digital systems
Experience in a fast-paced or pressurised environment
Manual handling experience

Bonus to have:

Previous experience in a similar goods-in or warehouse role
Knowledge or experience within the chemical industry
