The Recruitment Group is looking for a reliable and hardworking Goods In Operative to join our client's team in Loughborough.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative who holds a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and is confident working in a busy goods-in environment.

You'll be working closely alongside the Goods In Supervisor, helping to ensure deliveries are received, checked, booked in and stored efficiently and accurately.

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30

Friday: 07:30 – 12:30

This gives you a 39-hour working week.

About the Role

As a Goods In Operative, you'll work alongside the Goods In Supervisor and play an important role in ensuring all incoming goods are received, checked and processed correctly.

You'll be responsible for safely unloading and moving goods using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, as well as using computer systems to accurately book goods in and out.

The role will suit someone who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy and organisation.

You'll need to be confident using a computer and able to follow processes accurately when recording deliveries and stock movements.

Your Responsibilities

Working alongside the Goods In Supervisor to manage incoming deliveries
Safely unloading and moving goods using a Counterbalance FLT
Checking incoming goods against delivery paperwork
Booking goods in and out using computer systems
Accurately recording stock and delivery information
Ensuring goods are stored in the correct locations
Preparing and moving goods around the warehouse as required
Maintaining accurate paperwork and computer records
Ensuring goods-in areas are kept clean, tidy and organised
Following all company health and safety procedures
Working efficiently to ensure deliveries are processed promptly
Supporting the wider warehouse team when required
Reporting any discrepancies, damaged goods or issues to the Goods In Supervisor

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and hardworking, with a good understanding of warehouse and goods-in processes.

You'll need:

A valid Counterbalance FLT licence – essential
Previous warehouse or goods-in experience
Confidence operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
Good basic computer skills
The ability to accurately book goods in and out using computer systems
Good attention to detail
The ability to work safely and follow procedures
A reliable and hardworking attitude
Good communication skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A flexible and positive approach to work
The ability to work in a busy warehouse environment
