On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Goods In Quality Inspector on an initial 12-month contract. Based at RAF Brize Norton, you will work closely with the Logistics Manager and wider team to ensure all quality gate processes are followed before items are accepted into Part 145 stores, while supporting compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Role: Goods In Quality Inspector Pay: Up to £22 per hour Via Umbrella Location: Brize Norton Contract: Monday - Friday 37 Hours per week, 12 Months contract (Shift work will be required after the first 6 months) IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
Receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans Ensure compliance with all associated quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and quality management system requirements Using aerospace knowledge and expertise to inspect finished products, thereby ensuring conformance with MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 specifications and established quality standards, including customer requirements Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information Issue Discrepancy Reports and assisting in the resolution of customer complaints and Supplier quality problems Document and record non-conformance process issues concerning business operations Represent the Quality Management Department during internal meetings, working committees and modification programs Essential Skills:
5-7 years of knowledge of aircraft operations, materials and practices 5-7 years' experience under MAA Part 145 or EASA Part 145. Part21 experience could be also considered Knowledge of AS9100 and First Article Inspection An associate degree, two years of university or technical school within aerospace engineering, system engineering, electromechanical or similar. Logistic or Inventory management experience Experience of a customer facing role in either a military or civilian aviation environment Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Working knowledge of a QMS system for logistics operations and regulatory requirements for control of inventory Other
For the first 6 months you will work standard office hours (Monday to Thursday (Apply online only); Friday (Apply online only)). After you will be required to work earlies and lates between the hours of 0700 and 1900 Monday to Friday only
