Goods in/Assembly/Packing operative

Our client is a manufacturer and global supplier of automatic gates, barriers, turnstiles etc.

They are looking for a confident, competent addition to their team working with goods in and stores as well as packing and distribution of their products.

This will be a varied and busy role.

You will be
Checking in goods and deliveries
Adding the goods and codes onto the system
Dismantling tested gates and barriers and package them up in readiness for shipping
Organising logistics and collections for delivery
General warehouse duties (possibly using forklift)
Assisting in assembly tasks alongside experienced fitters
Other general warehouse/assembly/goods in tasks relating to a busy environment.

You will be

Positive
Comfortable working with general hand tools
Capable of working in a goods in/out environment
PC literate and able to load orders/data onto PC systems
Ideally have prior experience operating forklift trucks (not essential)
Flexible in taking on a variety of tasks as required within the company.
