Goods Return Operative

Straight Forward Recruitment is recruiting a Goods Return Operative for a busy warehouse in the Rackheath/Norwich area. 

Hours:     Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay:        £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary

The Role

You will be responsible for processing returned goods, checking items for damage and ensuring products are accurately recorded and sorted. This is a physically demanding role that requires you to be on your feet throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

Process returned products.
Scan barcodes and update records using an iPad or handheld scanner.
Check returned items for damage or missing parts.
Sort products into the correct locations.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
Assist with end-of-day housekeeping.

Requirements

Able to lift items up to 20kg.
Good attention to detail.
Comfortable using basic handheld technology.
Good communication skills and understanding of English.
Previous warehouse or returns experience is beneficial but not essential.
An interest in fishing or angling is an advantage.
