Job Description - Graduate Accountant

Graduate Accountant | Preston + Hybrid | £25,000 - £27,000 + Study | High-growth business | Exciting industry

Axon Moore are proud to be working alongside a high-growth, industry-leading client as they look to recruit an ambitious Graduate and provide them with a platform to kickstart their career. This incredible opportunity is perfect for those studying towards ACCA or CIMA and seeking to play a pivotal role within a high-calibre finance team whilst also enjoying fantastic benefits.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
Variance analysis
Balance sheet reconciliations
Revenue analysis
Bank reconciliations
Support with year-end and external audits
Processing payment runs and remittances
Handling chargebacks
Fraud disputes
Ongoing system and control improvements
Additional ad-hoc reporting

Required Skills and Experience:

Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong IT and MS Excel skills
Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively
Willingness to learn and succeed
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
