Graduate Acoustic Consultant

Salary: £26,000 to £29,000 per annum

As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, you will:

• Assist in the delivery of environmental noise projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Support senior consultants in conducting noise impact assessments for aviation and other sectors.
• Use specialist software to model and predict noise levels.
• Conduct on-site noise monitoring and surveys.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in acoustics and noise management.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related field.
• A strong interest in environmental noise and aviation noise projects.
• Basic knowledge of acoustic principles and noise measurement techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• A full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).

Your typical day as a Graduate Acoustic Consultant may include:

• Conducting noise surveys at various locations, including airports and urban environments.
• Analyzing noise data using specialized software and tools.
