Graduate Bordereaux Analyst

G MASS Consulting is a specialist Lloyd's and London Market consultancy. We are looking for a Graduate Bordereaux Analyst to be deployed as a G MASS consultant into one of our London Market insurance clients, working embedded within their delegated authority operations team.

You will be employed by G MASS and supported by us throughout the assignment, with ongoing oversight, development and access to insurance training and CII study support. This role suits someone with up to three years' insurance experience who wants to build specialist delegated authority and data skills.

You will own the receipt, validation and processing of premium and claims bordereaux from coverholders, MGAs and TPAs, making sure data is accurate, complete and compliant with contract terms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tracking receipt of monthly premium and claims bordereaux against reporting schedules, and chasing late or incomplete submissions.
• Validating bordereaux data against binding authority contract terms, including limits, territories, classes of business and binder periods.
• Checking submissions against Lloyd's Coverholder Reporting Standards and internal data requirements, and raising data quality issues with coverholders.
• Loading and processing validated bordereaux into policy administration and bordereaux management systems.
• Reconciling premium bordereaux to cash received and to written premium, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Flagging potential contract breaches or unusual trends to delegated authority, underwriting and compliance teams.
• Producing internal reporting on bordereaux timeliness, data quality and outstanding issues.
• Supporting coverholder audits, renewals and wider delegated authority oversight activity as required.

• Demonstrable interest in insurance and the London Market.
• An internship in insurance would be advantageous, particularly within Lloyd's or the London Market (e.g. managing agent, syndicate, MGA, broker or TPA).
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, reconciliation logic) and confidence working with large data sets.
• Comfortable learning policy administration and bordereaux management systems quickly.
• Methodical, detail-oriented and self-sufficient, able to deliver accurate work to fixed monthly and quarterly deadlines.
• Clear, professional communicator, able to manage queries with coverholders, brokers and underwriters.
• Degree educated or equivalent experience.
