Tradewind Recruitment are working with a number of inclusive, high-achieving secondary schools in Islington that are seeking Graduate English Teaching Assistants to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to engage with a broad range of learners, build your confidence in the classroom, and contribute to the delivery of a dynamic English curriculum.

This is an ideal position for someone who loves language and literature and wants to support literacy development in young people from diverse backgrounds.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Providing small group and 1:1 support in English Language and Literature
• Assisting with reading intervention, comprehension and extended writing tasks
• Supporting EAL and SEN students to access learning
• Helping plan resources and deliver revision sessions
• Promoting literacy across the school community

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in English or a related humanities subject
• A love of language and a commitment to helping students learn
• Confidence, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills
• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
