The Role
As a Graduate Engineering Geologist, you'll support the delivery of geotechnical and ground engineering projects while developing your technical and professional expertise.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with desk studies and interpretative reporting Supporting ground investigations and site activities Contributing to ground models and geotechnical assessments Assisting with geotechnical design solutions Supporting Preliminary Risk Assessments Maintaining site records and project documentation Participating in site visits and client meetings Working closely with civil, structural and geotechnical teams Supporting project delivery across a variety of sectors You'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, helping you develop a strong understanding of both technical delivery and consultancy project management.
About You
You may be a recent graduate or someone with a year or two of industry experience looking for the next step in your Engineering Geology career.
Your background may include:
A degree in Geology or a related discipline Ground investigation experience Geotechnical or geological reporting Site work and data collection Ground modelling and geotechnical assessments Strong communication and organisational skills A genuine interest in infrastructure and ground engineering projects An MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or a related subject would be beneficial, but it's not essential. A full UK driving licence is required due to the site-based nature of the role.
