We're supporting a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their Engineering team at a large-scale process manufacturing site in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineering graduate looking to build a long-term career within a complex and highly regulated industrial environment.
As part of a structured graduate development programme, you'll gain hands-on experience across mechanical integrity, asset reliability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, whilst working alongside experienced engineers and developing towards Chartered status.
Core Duties:
Supporting the integrity and compliance of pressure systems and critical plant equipment Assisting with reliability improvement initiatives across site assets Analysing inspection data to identify maintenance and performance improvement opportunities Participating in root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions Providing technical support to maintenance, operational, and project engineering activities Working with suppliers, contractors, and specialist engineering partners Supporting preventative maintenance planning and continuous improvement projects Developing and improving engineering systems and proceduresAbout You:
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles Keen to work towards Chartered Engineer status Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Able to work both independently and as part of a team Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Industrial placement, internship, or manufacturing experience would be advantageousThis is an urgent requirement and applications will be reviewed at speed.
