Graduate Occupational Hygienist

Our Client, a well established scientific and analytical environmental organization with a considerable amount of experience in providing environmental compliance and monitoring accredited support to a wide range of clients has a requirement for a Graduate Occupational Hygienist to join their team in Newcastle. The company looking to recruit carry out a wide range of testing including materials testing, noise, air and exhaust monitoring work amongst other environmental and health and safety orientated services with over 20 years in the sector.

Qualifications

Degree in environmental science or closely related subject

Driving licence

Driven and enthusiastic nature for environmental monitoring and compliance

Duties

Assessment Implementation of Health and Safety guidelines Supporting Project Management duties LEV Testing

Noise Monitoring

Dust Assessments

Air Sampling

Writing Technical Reports

Liaison with Clients/ Local Authorities

Measuring gases and vapours by manual extractive techniques

Consultancy on Environment Agency audits
