Planning & Development Consultancy (Independent)

We are currently working with a progressive and independent planning consultancy to appoint a Graduate Planner at a key stage of the company's growth.

With a growing client base of landowners, developers, promoters and public sector bodies, this is a fantastic opportunity to begin your planning career with hands-on involvement across a wide range of projects.

You will work alongside a highly experienced and supportive team on:

• Preparing and managing planning applications

• Supporting strategic land promotions and policy representations

• Undertaking research, site assessments and client reporting

• Engaging with stakeholders, consultants, and local authorities

The work spans residential, commercial, and rural sectors, providing a varied and engaging start to your career in planning.

• A degree in Town Planning or a related field (Geography, Urban Studies, etc.)

• An interest in pursuing MRTPI accreditation (or already working towards it)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn

• An ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting

Experience from a placement year or internship in planning is beneficial but not essential.
