Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading UK property consultancy in their search for a Graduate Planner to join their thriving Planning team in Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the city's largest and most successful planning teams, working across a diverse and exciting range of projects spanning residential, commercial, retail, regeneration, energy, leisure, and community sectors.

As a Graduate Planner, you'll support the wider team in delivering high-quality planning advice and services to both private and public sector clients. You'll work on planning applications, appraisals, appeals, and representations-developing core technical and client-facing skills within a fast-paced, professional consultancy environment.

• Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals

• Research and analyse planning policy to inform strategies and appraisals

• Prepare and present planning appraisals, reports, and statements

• Support post-submission negotiations and attend meetings

• Draft representations to emerging planning policy documents and local plans

• Attend networking events and actively contribute to business growth

• A strong understanding of the UK planning system

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail

• Confident with Microsoft Office and planning-related IT tools

• A self-starter with a positive attitude and commercial awareness

• Strong research and analytical skills

• Ideally on track for or currently working toward RTPI accreditation

• Work with one of Bristol's leading planning teams
