Job Description - Graduate Production Engineer

Do you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design and are looking to secure a role with progression and development opportunities? We are working with an innovative manufacturer who are looking for a Graduate Production Engineer on a permanent basis. This role involves converting product requirements into engineering drawings, bills of materials and work instructions to ensure high quality manufactured products.

Permanent
Salary up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience
40 hours per week – Flexitime working week
Site based
Woking

Graduate Production Engineer
Job Description

Convert customer requirements into 2D drawings and specifications
Create manufacturing collateral including bills of material, routings and work instructions.
Oversee pilot manufacturing to identify improvements and refine designs.
Provide technical and manufacturing advice to internal teams
Coordinate cross-functional projects from new product design to production handover.

Graduate Production Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or equivalent
Understanding of manufacturing processes
Proficient in 2D CAD software
