The Role You will work closely with children and young people with:

Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Communication and sensory needs
Complex medical and physical needsWorking alongside experienced teachers, therapists, and support staff, you will help pupils access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support throughout the school day
Assist pupils with their educational, social, and emotional development
Support personalised learning activities and interventions
Help students develop communication, independence, and life skills
Work collaboratively with teachers and specialist professionals
Build positive relationships with pupils and their families
Promote a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate
A degree in Psychology, Criminology, or a related subject
Passion for supporting children with additional needs
Patient, resilient, and compassionate nature
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Commitment to making a difference in young people's livesNo previous school or SEN experience is required. Full training and support will be provided for the successful candidate.
