An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate QA Engineer to join an innovative technology-focused business operating within the insurance sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who enjoys problem-solving, technology and understanding how businesses operate, and is looking to build a career in Quality Assurance, Software Engineering or Product.
Working as part of a collaborative technology team, you will work closely with developers, data engineers, data scientists and operational colleagues to help ensure that software applications are reliable, effective and deliver an excellent user experience.

Participate in team meetings, code reviews and Agile sprint planning. Develop your understanding of QA processes, testing methodologies and software development. Contribute ideas and help identify opportunities to improve the quality and performance of applications. Support wider business and technology projects as required. About You
We're looking for a graduate who is curious, analytical and enjoys solving problems. You may have studied a technology-related subject, or you may come from a business/operations background with a strong interest in technology.
You should have:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. Some foundational knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, Java or C#. An understanding of basic software testing principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication skills. A genuine interest in technology and how it can be used to improve business processes. Desirable Skills
The following would be advantageous, but are not essential:
Basic knowledge of databases and SQL. Familiarity with Git or other version control tools. Exposure to testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress or PyTest. Previous project work, university assignments or personal projects involving software development or testing. What's on Offer?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where you can develop your technical skills while gaining exposure to the rapidly evolving world of insurance technology.
You'll work alongside experienced technology and insurance professionals, with the opportunity to build a broad skill set and potentially develop your career into areas such as Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, Data, Product Management or Technology.
If you're a recent graduate with a curious mind, strong analytical skills and an interest in both business and technology, we'd love to hear from you Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
