Graduate Research & Technology Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen at my superb client in Bridgend; an innovative engineering company that designs and manufactures high-tech equipment for customers worldwide; who are looking for a Graduate Research & Technology Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience supporting research and development projects, working with advanced laboratory equipment, testing new technologies, analysing technical data, and collaborating with engineering, sales and manufacturing teams.

About You:

A degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Good IT skills and keen attention to detail.
A genuine interest in research, technology and innovation.What you'll be doing:

Support research and development activities across a range of engineering projects.
Process customer samples, produce technical reports and maintain engineering databases.
Assist in the operation and continual improvement of the Applications Facility.
Support the Job Shop service, including equipment set-up, operation and routine maintenance.
Work closely with Engineering, Sales and Marketing teams to support demonstrations, applications testing and technical assessments.
Maintain inventory of specialist stock used for research and engineering projects.
Test and evaluate both internally developed and third-party equipment.
Collect, interpret and analyse technical data, presenting findings in clear and concise reports.What's on offer:

Salary of £29,000 - £34,000 depending on experience.
Working hours will be Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm; Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
