Job Description - Graduate Research & Tender Officer

FIND are a specialist staffing business, servicing the Skills & Employability markets across the UK. We’re representing a market leading not-for-profit training provider who operate within the, adult training and employability sectors.

Role: Graduate Research & Tender Officer

Reports to: Bid Manager

Location: Remote based, with travel to Nottingham once a month

Snapshot of experience required: My client are looking for a recent graduate who is looking to learn and grow with an established company. This position requires good research, data & writing skills.

Salary: £28,000 - £29,800

The Job To support the Business Development Team in increasing our company’s financial growth by supporting bid activities, conducting innovative desktop research, working with colleagues to develop and implement methodologies to demonstrate the impact of our work. To support in seeking and securing opportunities to promote that impact externally to strengthen our reputation and influence with key stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Bidding and Funding Manager, and Head of Business Development & Stakeholder Partnerships to develop a robust research/impact analysis strategy to evidence the impact of our work.
Work closely with business development and communications colleagues to provide high quality desktop research to support successful bids and communication activity.
To horizon scan through contract finders and tender portals for suitable bidding opportunities portals communicating these to the wider Business Development team
To draft Standard Selection Questionnaires (SSQ) responses in line with agreed project deadlines.
Produce high quality reports and content to demonstrate and promote the impact of our work.
To ensure required governance and policy documents are up to date and available for use in bid submissions.
Support the ongoing development of an evidence library and contribute to the maintenance of ‘live’ file of quantified evidence to support service outcomes that is readily available to support bid responses.
Proof-reading of created material and the work of other team members, providing constructive feedback.
Undertake detailed research and analysis in order to accurately portray the company’s strengths over its competitors when exploring and bidding in new markets.
Develop a good understanding of our vision, strategy and plans in order to inform production of quality content.

Be flexible and comply with any reasonable requests made by your line manager including, if necessary, working within other offices within reasonable distance
