We are recruiting for a dynamic and enthusiastic Graduate to join our team to play a crucial sales role in the promotion of products and building strong relationships within the architectural and design community.
Reporting to the Group Commercial Manager, this role will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with architects and designers, assisting, and influencing their product and material selections, and ensuring that company products are specified in their projects. This position offers a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to kick-start their career in sales and make a significant impact in the architectural and design industry.
Responsibilities include:
Build and Maintain Relationships: Cultivate and nurture relationships with architects, designers, and other key stakeholders in the architectural and design community.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio and effectively communicate its features, benefits, and value to architects and designers.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor products to provide valuable insights to the company and clients.
Product Specification: Actively work with architects and designers to specify company products in their projects, ensuring company solutions meet their design and functionality requirements.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to promote products, addressing the unique needs and preferences of each client.
Negotiation and Closing: Collaborate with clients to negotiate terms and close sales agreements, ensuring mutual satisfaction.
Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients throughout the sales process.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, reports, and forecasts to track progress and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing and commercial teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Passion for sales.
Strong IT skills, including MS Office (inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and SharePoint).
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
Excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work to high standards with multiple priorities.
Willingness to travel in the UK/abroad as needed with occasional nights away from home.
Current UK drivers licence.
This is a full-time permanent role, usual working hours are Monday to Thursday 9 am to 5:30 pm & Friday 9 am to 5 pm with an unpaid hour for lunch each day.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays Life assurance 3 x salary 5% pension
Salary : Up to £27000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
Hours:
Full time 37 hours per week.
Contract:
Permanent.
