Job Description - Graduate Teaching Assistant

A reputable and diverse secondary school in Harrow, North-West London is seeking a passionate and committed Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their successful and welcoming Inclusion Faculty from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity ideally suited for recent graduates considering a future in teaching.

In this long-term Graduate Teaching Assistant role based in Harrow, North-West London, you can earn up to £590 a week!

About the Role:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group academic support to students across Key Stages 3 to 5
  • Support learners both in and out of the mainstream classroom environment
  • Lead intervention groups in core subjects, particularly Maths and English
  • Assist students with a wide range of special educational needs, including English as an additional language (EAL)
  • Collaborate closely with experienced teachers, SEN professionals, and the wider Inclusion team
