An excellent secondary school in Islington is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team for the new academic year!

• Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant (Maths, Science or English)

• Location: Islington, North London

• Start Date: September 2025

• Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only

• Provide 1:1 and small group support in your subject area

• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery

• Support students needing additional academic help

• Help maintain a positive, focused learning environment

• Gain valuable classroom experience to support a future PGCE or teacher training application

• A degree in Maths, Science, English, or a related subject

• A genuine interest in education and working with young people

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn

• Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)

• Aspiring teachers looking to gain school experience

• Graduates considering a PGCE or teacher training course

• Individuals passionate about making a difference in young people's lives
