• Must be recent Graduates (2024 / 2025)

NextGen Teachers are proud to be working in partnership with a larger than average sized Primary School based in central Leeds who looking to recruit a Graduate as Primary Teaching Assistant starting from September 2025.

This is a forward-thinking Primary school with children from Nursery - Year 6 and the school are seeking to recruit a passionate and ambitious Graduate who is looking to start a career in Education.

The school are Interested in recruiting Graduates of: Criminology, Psychology, Education Studies, EYFS, Primary Studies, Education Studies or anything similar.

Graduate Teaching Assistant role:

• Support with implementing appropriate activities to support children's learning and development
• Both group and 1:1 support
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Promoting the general well being of the children
• Observe and assess the children progress and be able to report back to the classroom teacher

Applicants must have:

• Degree Qualified or in progress (due to finish in August 2025)
• An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
• Two professional references
• The right to work in the UK
