Contract Length: Academic year (with potential for extension or permanent offer)

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Bolton from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while making a real difference in the lives of young learners.

This role is ideal for graduates who are considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or SEND support.

• Provide classroom-based support to pupils across Key Stages 1 and/or 2

• Work closely with the class teacher to assist with lesson preparation and delivery

• Offer individual and small group support to pupils, including those with SEND needs

• Help create an inclusive, encouraging learning environment

• Support with the management of pupil behaviour and engagement

• Assist in tracking progress and development

• A degree (any discipline, preferably related to education, psychology or child development)

• Experience working with children or young people (e.g., in a school, tutoring, mentoring or youth work setting)

• A genuine interest in education and supporting children's learning

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• A positive, proactive and resilient attitude

• An understanding or interest in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

• A welcoming and inclusive school environment

• Valuable experience in a primary school classroom
