Graduate Trainee - Client Services £27,000 per annum Daventry, Northants 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday Permanent
Our client is seeking two ambitious and highly motivated graduates to join their Client Services team at their Daventry office. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a leading private markets investment business and develop a strong foundation for a long-term career in financial services.
As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will work closely with internal departments and investors, gaining valuable exposure to private equity, private credit, real estate, and alternative investment strategies. The role provides unique insight into how private investments are structured, managed, and delivered within a regulated investment environment.
The Role As a Graduate Trainee, you will support both the Client Services and Compliance teams, contributing to the smooth operation of investor onboarding, client communications, and regulatory processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the day-to-day activities of the Client Services and Compliance teams Maintaining accurate client records across CRM systems and internal databases Assisting with investor onboarding, including AML and KYC checks Preparing client reports, financial information, and payment schedules using Excel Ensuring documentation and communications are accurate and delivered on time Conducting research and gathering supporting documentation from external sources, including Companies House Providing administrative support across the wider business This role offers a comprehensive introduction to investor operations and client relationship management within an FCA-regulated investment firm.
About You Our client is looking for graduates who are bright, driven, and eager to build a career in private markets and financial services. Requirements:
A minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail Good numerical and analytical abilities A proactive, adaptable, and team-focused approach High levels of honesty, integrity, and professionalism A genuine interest in private equity, private debt, real estate, and alternative investments A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Previous customer service experience is desirable, but prior financial services experience is not required. We are looking for individuals with potential, curiosity, and ambition.
