Grid Project Manager - 500MW Battery Storage (Sundon)

A leading UK renewable energy developer is moving its 500MW Sundon battery energy storage project into delivery. They need a Grid Project Manager to lead the grid connection and electrical works on site, safely, on programme and on budget.
The role
* Lead site meetings and manage the grid and electrical work packages day to day, with clear, timely reporting.
* Track progress against the project programme, using short-term and look-ahead programmes.
* Act as the main contact for subcontractor site management, and support subcontractor selection, procurement and design.
* Manage QA documentation and compliance against project procedures, specification and design.
* Issue site instructions and work with the commercial team to keep progress moving.
* Build the package commissioning plans and manage technical, programme and commissioning interfaces with the other project managers.
* Set the standard on safety and behaviour, and guide the project and design engineers.
You'll have
* Experience as a site-based project or package manager on HV grid connection, substation or BESS projects.
* Strong subcontractor management, programme control and QA/completions experience.
* Working knowledge of CDM 2015 and HV safety on energised sites.
* An engineering background, ideally electrical
