Grill Chef - Days only

ST TALENT are recruiting for an experienced and reliable Grill Chef to join a busy restaurant based close to Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident chef who takes pride in producing high-quality food and wants a role offering daytime working hours only.

We’re looking for someone who can deliver consistently high standards, work efficiently during busy service periods and contribute to a positive, supportive kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and grill a range of meats, burgers and vegetables to a consistently high standard.

*

Maintain excellent food quality, portion control and presentation.

*

Keep the grill station clean, organised and compliant with food hygiene standards.

*

Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies.

*

Work efficiently under pressure to ensure smooth and timely service.

*

Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For

*

Previous experience as a Grill Chef or Grill Cook, ideally with at least four years’ experience in a busy environment

*

Good knowledge of different cuts of meat, marinades and grilling techniques.

*

A reliable, hardworking approach with excellent attention to detail.

*

The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

*

A Food Hygiene Certificate would be advantageous.

What’s on Offer?

Salary up to £40,000, depending on experience.

Days-only working hours – no late evening shifts.
