Job Title: Grinder / Grinding Machine Operator

Job Summary: A Grinder is responsible for operating grinding machines to shape, smooth, and finish metal or other materials according to specifications. The role involves reading technical drawings, measuring finished products, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up and operate grinding machines and related equipment.

* Grind, polish, and finish components to required dimensions and tolerances.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.

* Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify accuracy.

* Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with standards.

* Perform machine maintenance and report equipment issues.

* Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

* Record production and quality data as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Experience operating grinding or machining equipment.

* Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.

* Knowledge of measuring and inspection tools.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

* Understanding of workplace safety procedures.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
