Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Engineer

GSE Engineer

Location: Heathrow

Salary: £49,000 - 4 on 4 off

Hours: 40 hours per week, typically between 8am – 6pm. From time to time you may be required to respond to a call out – for each call out attended to between hours of 6pm – 8am you will receive £50 and an hourly payment rate of time and a half (including travel to and from call-out location). There are 33 days holiday.

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Main Accountabilities:

Planned maintenance.
Periodic statutory inspections.
Breakdown repairs and fault finding.
Fire system inspections.
Thorough examinations (LOLER)
Technical support.
You will be working on a range of support equipment which may involve vehicles and plant equipment.
Skills:

The successful candidate will have proven experience in the repair and maintenance of either Ground Support Equipment, Commercial Vehicle, Materials Handling Equipment or Plant.
The role will provide specialist support of airport based GSE including Aircraft Deicer vehicles, and AME
