Ground Worker – VoidsSalary: Up to £34,000 per annum

We are currently working with a Housing Association seeking an experienced Ground Worker to join their responsive repairs team in Bedfordshire.

Day-to-Day Duties
Carry out day-to-day groundwork repairs in occupied residential properties.
Complete paving, slabbing, concreting, and tarmac repairs.
Excavate and reinstate footpaths, driveways, and other external areas.
Undertake drainage repairs, including clearing, replacing, and installing pipework.
Carry out fencing repairs and installations, including posts, panels, and gates.
Reinstate external areas following utility or maintenance works.
Maintain a tidy and professional approach while working in tenants' homes and communal areas.
Safely operate hand tools and small plant equipment.
Identify and report any additional repairs or follow-on works.
Support other trades with minor make-good works when required.Benefits

Previous experience as a Ground Worker within responsive repairs, maintenance, or social housing.
Experience in paving, drainage, fencing, concreting, tarmac, and general external repairs.
Full UK driving licence.

Suitable BackgroundsThis role would suit candidates with experience as a Ground Worker, Groundworker Multi Trader, Maintenance Operative, Multi-Skilled Operative, Multi-Trade Operative, Multi Trader, or Handyman, particularly those with experience working within social housing, housing associations, domestic properties, local authorities, or Ministry of Defence (MOD) contracts
