Grounds Assistant

Keysoe International LTD, a leading equestrian facility nestled in the heart of Bedfordshire, is seeking a dedicated Grounds Assistant to support our growing business. Covering over 500 acres of parkland, paddocks and world-class equestrian facilities, our site demands meticulous care to maintain its high standards for all users.

We welcome applications from individuals with experience in Agriculture, Estate, or Grounds Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain lawns, landscaping and overall estate presentation


• Operate large grounds machinery, including telehandlers, forklifts, tractors, ride-on mowers and sprayers


• Prepare and maintain all equestrian arena grounds for competitions and training sessions


• Perform general machinery and equipment maintenance (upon receiving training)


• Uphold health and safety standards


• Liaise with the Line Manager to coordinate work and suggest site improvements


• Conduct essential grounds tidying, including litter picking, bin emptying and waste clearance


• Collaborate with contractors to ensure smooth completion of on-site projects


• Provide top-tier customer service to all visitors and clients at Keysoe International LTD 


• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as needed across the estate
  

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Hands-on experience in Grounds Maintenance, Agriculture, Estate Care, or Greenkeeping


• Full UK driving license required


• Qualified to operate multiple types of grounds machinery


• PA1 / PA6 spraying certification preferred


• Comfortable working in all weather conditions


• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently


• Dedicated to maintaining high standards and working efficiently within a team
