Job Description - Grounds Maintenance Operative

A well-established Grounds maintenance Contractor is looking for a Ground Maintenance Operative with a qualification in hedge cutting to join their business on a 26 week contract starting on the 1st of June.

Job Title: Ground Maintenance Operative
Location: Birmingham

Contract type: Temporary contract
Hourly rate: £16.36ph paid weekly via umbrella

As a Ground Maintenance Operative, you will be:

Hedge cutting around Birmingham
Using a pole saw and tidying hedges around Birmingham streets
Removal and disposal of green waste

To be successful as a Ground Maintenance Operative, you will have:

Previous experience in a similar role ( Ground Maintenance/ Grounds keeper/ Head Gardener/ Estate Maintenance Operative/ External Operative
Personal transport to meet at the depot in Redditch
Any qualification relating to Hedge Cutting ( Lantra, chapter 8 or C&G NPCT Level 2)
