About the Role
We are recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative on behalf of our client based in Little Canfield near Dunmow. This is a practical outdoor role supporting the upkeep of public areas and green spaces. The work is hands on and suits someone who enjoys working outside and takes pride in maintaining a clean and well presented environment.

This role would also suit candidates searching for positions such as Grounds Person, Landscape Operative, Environmental Operative, Outdoor Maintenance Worker, Parks Operative, or similar roles within local authority or estates services.

What You’ll Do
• Carry out grass cutting duties using appropriate equipment
• Trim hedges and manage general vegetation
• Litter pick across public spaces and pathways
• Sweep pavements and roadsides
• Carry out edging and spraying tasks where required
• Work as part of a team to maintain high standards across the area

What We’re Looking For
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or grass cutting
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
• Able to follow instructions and health and safety guidance
