Grounds Waste - Cleaning Operative

LOCATION St Enoch Shopping Centre

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 days over 7 days including weekends, 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

PAY RATE: £12.60 per hour

OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be part of a grounds/waste cleaning team completing a range of cleaning actives externally and internally, these actives will include use of high-powered jet-wash, weeding, graffiti removal, removal of waste, general cleaning, and litter picking. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness at all times.

Main Duties:

Duties will include completing a range of grounds work including cleaning and use of cleaning machinery ensuring a high level of cleanliness is maintained externally and internally.

Responsibilities:

Undertaking day to day cleaning tasks set out by senior operative. Required to use cleaning machinery such as, scrubber driers, Reach & Wash system, jet-wash, and cleaning actives involving graffiti removal/weed removal and other cleaning duties.

Experience is not essential but preferred full training will be given

Essential:

· Good attention to detail,

· Ability to work within a team as well as independently

· Ability to work on own initiative

· Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work,

· Awareness of importance on Health & Safety Policies & procedures.
