Groundwork Assistant Quantity Surveyor

GROUNDWORK ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR REQUIRED

This is an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading residential groundworks contractor with experience in the industry for over 30 years. They are looking for a driven individual to come on board as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their organisation who have strong relationships with clients and sub-contractors working on multiple contracts within Housing.

Our client is based in Cambridge and has won projects across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Bedfordshire & Northamptonshire.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Agreement of certification and payment of subcontractor accounts
• Implementation and compliance with the contract change control procedure and monitoring thereof including notices to client as appropriate
• Managing sub-contractors
• Sending out enquiries, collating prices, comparing with tender and negotiation.
• Preparing valuations for interim application for payment including variations;

The salary the client is offering depending on experience is £25,000 - £35,000.
