Groundworker SSSTS/SMSTS

We're currently looking to recruit an experienced Groundworker with either SSSTS or SMSTS to join a live school refurbishment project in Selston, Nottinghamshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced groundworker looking to step into a supervisory role whilst remaining hands-on when required. You'll be joining a well-established contractor delivering a programme of small civils and structural remediation works within a live education environment.
The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day running of the site, supervise a small team of subcontractors and support the Site Manager to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Supervising day-to-day site activities.
* Overseeing minor brickwork, blockwork and structural repair works.
* Assisting with small civils and structural remediation activities.
* Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely.
* Carrying out toolbox talks and daily briefings.
* Maintaining site paperwork, RAMS and daily records.
* Liaising with the Site Manager, Contracts Manager and subcontractors.
* Assisting the trades where required to maintain programme.
* Promoting high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the project.
Essential Requirements
* SSSTS or SMSTS.
* CSCS Card.
* First Aid at Work.
* Experience working on refurbishment or structural remediation projects.
* Comfortable working within a live school environment.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
