Groundworkers

CNC Recruitment are seeking Groundworkers for a Somerset-based company who works throughout the UK, repairing and servicing water systems.The successful candidate will work away from home from Monday-Friday. This role would suit someone who has done hands on manual work, such as labouring. Location – Ilminster Area

Salary : £14.00ph starting rate.

MUST be happy to work away - all work is away on different contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Excavation: Digging trenches for foundations, utilities, and service ducts.

* Foundations: Laying and pouring concrete bases and footings to support the structure. Drainage: Installing pipes, manholes, and underground systems to manage water flow.

* Site Clearance: Clearing vegetation, topsoil, and debris to create a level, stable base.

Requirements needed:

* The candidate will ideally come from a hands on, manual work background and be physically fit , as some heavy lifting required

* The ability to work in a team.

* A positive , strong work ethic,

* Good communication skills

* Proactive and consistent to get the job done.

* Hardworking

* A professional attitude

* A sense of humour is a must.

* Must be happy to work away on projects
