Groundworks foreman

Your new company
Our client is a respected regional contractor known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial developments. They are seeking an experienced Groundworks Foreman to lead site operations across their upcoming projects.
Your new role
As Groundworks Foreman, you'll be the eyes and ears on-site, ensuring smooth day-to-day groundworks operations-from foundations and drainage to external works. You'll coordinate with site managers, subcontractors, and direct labour to maintain the programme, quality, and safety.

• Oversee and lead groundworks crews on-site, ensuring works are completed to specification.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and set out works accordingly
• Monitor quality control and ensure health & safety compliance
• Liaise with Site Management to plan resources and resolve issues promptly
• Mentor operatives and maintain a productive, high-performing team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven track record as a Groundworks Foreman or Supervisor
• Strong technical understanding of groundwork operations
• Confident in setting out and reading drawings
• SMSTS/SSSTS & First Aid certification preferred
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
