Rate: £300 - £330 per day

Ridgeway & Co are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to join a leading groundworks contractor on a long-term project based in Takley, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering a large-scale groundworks package from the early stages through to completion, with a strong pipeline of future work.

Key Responsibilities

*

Managing all day-to-day groundworks operations on site

*

Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant and material deliveries

*

Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification

*

Conducting daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inspections

*

Monitoring progress and reporting to the Project Manager

*

Maintaining the highest standards of health & safety and quality control

*

Liaising with clients, engineers and the wider project team

*

Managing site documentation, permits and RAMS compliance

*

Ensuring works comply with project drawings, specifications and programme requirements

Requirements

*

Previous experience as a Groundworks Site Manager

*

Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, roads, infrastructure and external works

*

Experience working on residential or infrastructure groundworks projects

*

SMSTS

*

CSCS Card

*

First Aid at Work

*

Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills

*

Full UK Driving Licence
