Group Accountant

We are working exclusively with this organisation which has a proud history and has enjoyed consistent growth, strong EBITDA margin and continues to grow through acquisition. Your role as Group Accountant is part of succession planning - the aim is for this individual to take on Financial Controller role within the short to medium term.

You will have a vital part in developing management reporting and improving processes in line with a new ERP implementation taking place this year, with the support of the Finance Director. Key aspects will include

• Financial reporting and consolidated monthly management accounts for the group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Reconciling intercompany transactions and balances and liaising with international counterparts/stakeholders as required
• Assisting in the preparation of group budgets/forecasts and providing insight on variances
• Identification of process and system improvement potential, working with the FD to provide recommendations in readiness for new system

To be considered for this role you should be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a logical and progressive career to date. We're looking for someone ambitious - this role has been scoped with the aim of the individual becoming Financial Controller in the short to medium term and the group continues to grow. Experience within a group/consolidated reporting is required and experience of Netsuite or a similar ERP is highly desirable.
