Group Accountant / Finance Manager

Finance Manager | London (hybrid) | £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A growing, family-owned property investment and management group is seeking a proactive and technically strong Finance Manager to take ownership of its financial operations in London. With a portfolio spanning London and other major cities across the UK, the business combines entrepreneurial drive with a commitment to high-quality asset management and sustainable growth.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of group financial management, from statutory compliance and tax filings to payroll and management reporting, while supporting the property management team in delivering exceptional service across a diverse portfolio. This is a hands-on role in a small, close-knit team, offering significant exposure to senior decision-makers and the chance to shape processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing payroll, PAYE, and pensions for the team
• Preparing and filing VAT, Corporation Tax, and annual statutory accounts
• Producing management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and budgets
• Driving process improvements and enhancing financial reporting systems
• Liaising with non-Finance stakeholders across the business

The successful candidate will have:

• Full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Solid technical knowledge of financial reporting, tax, and statutory compliance
• An understanding of service charge accounting
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Xero
• Property sector experience (advantageous)
