Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Location: London, Covent Garden
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Accountant to join a fast-paced, creative, and collaborative organisation. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a passion for supporting finance operations across a growing international business. Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function, with exposure to accounts payable, month-end processes, and wider commercial finance support

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage new supplier setup and maintain accurate records.
• Process purchase orders, supplier invoices, and payments across global operations.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries.
• Administer employee expenses, credit card expenditure, petty cash, and staff advances.
• Perform daily bank postings and weekly reconciliations.
• Post expense accruals and prepayments.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and post depreciation.
• Reconcile bank accounts and resolve outstanding queries.
• Support with balance sheet reconciliations and audit requests.

Key Requirements:

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel and systems skills; experience with Netsuite is desirable.
• A team player with the motivation to develop and grow.
