Role: Group Accounts Receivable Manager

We are looking for a highly organised and results-driven Group Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and manage the accounts receivable function for our large client. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a brilliant role in a group finance function and manage a fantasti team!

Location: Yorkshire. This role is commutable from Leeds, Wakefield, Harrogate and York
Hours: Full time with hybrid working

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead / manage the accounts receivable team ensuring efficient processes.
• Develop current and implement new credit control policies to optimise cash flow and reduce risk.
• Track key AR metrics including cash forecasting.
• Oversee invoicing processes
• Work with all departments (including sales) to resolve credit disputes
• Regularly review credit limits and payment terms.
• Support month-end and year-end processes
• Drive continuous improvements in AR systems and processes.
• Provide leadership, training, and development for the accounts receivable / credit control team
• Play a key role in a new ERP system in the future

About You:

• 5-7+ years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 5 years in a leadership role with proven management experience
• Ideally CICM qualified or a business-related degree preferred - not essential.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and results-focused mindset.
